Planned Gifts

A donor advised fund gives you the flexibility to determine how much and how often a gift is made to Berea College with a tax advantage. It is an excellent way to amplify your charitable giving and achieve your philanthropic goals.

Donor Advised Funds

You may be able to take your required minimum distribution (RMD) from your IRA for the tax year with an IRA charitable distribution or “rollover.”

Funds can be transferred directly to Berea College by your IRA plan manager without increasing your taxable income.

IRA Rollover 

These gifts may be tax-deductible at fair market value on the date that the College officially records the securities in its name.
